Creta Warranty
Creta warranty is 3 years with unlimited kilometres from delivery, the same for the Creta, Creta N Line and Creta EV, as on 1 November 2026. An extended warranty takes the cover to the seventh year; the full four extra years cost ₹47,999 to ₹1,12,999 before GST, by fuel and gearbox, if bought within 90 days of delivery. Roadside assistance is free for the first 3 years.
The warranty pays for defect repairs, which the five-year Creta ownership cost leaves out; that figure adds scheduled services, insurance renewals and fuel.
Standard warranty: years and kilometres
Hyundai's warranty on a new Creta runs 3 years with no kilometre limit in private use; a Creta used as a taxi or for hire is covered for 3 years or 1,00,000 km, whichever comes first. It passes to a later owner for whatever is left of it. The Creta EV's high-voltage battery has its own 8 years or 1,60,000 km.

Creta extended warranty: plans and prices
An extended warranty starts the day the standard warranty ends and covers mechanical and electrical breakdown, parts and labour. Hyundai sells seven plans, from the fourth year alone to the fourth to seventh years, and each ends early at its kilometre cap. It can be bought only while the car is still under warranty. It cannot be cancelled for a refund or moved to another car, but it passes to the car's next owner.
Hyundai Creta extended warranty price by plan
Bought within the first 90 days, the fourth year alone costs ₹13,499 to ₹29,899 before GST and the cover to the seventh year ₹47,999 to ₹1,12,999: least on the petrol manual, most on the Creta EV.

Powertrain-only extended warranty
A powertrain-only plan covers the engine and gearbox parts and costs less; Hyundai sells it for the petrol and diesel Creta, not the Creta EV.

What the extended warranty leaves out
It does not pay for routine maintenance or for wear parts such as spark plugs, belts, brake pads, discs and shoes, clutch disc, filters, wiper blades, bulbs, fuses, hoses, tyres and the battery. It also leaves out the audio and navigation system, the catalytic converter and exhaust, rubber parts and air conditioner gas leaks and body, paint, glass and trim. The diesel's particulate filter burns off its soot when the exhaust runs hot, and driving on for long once the DPF regeneration warning light blinks can damage it. Tie rod ends, steering ball joints, rear shock absorbers, front struts, tail door lifters and wheel bearings and hubs are covered only up to 60,000 km.
Roadside assistance
For the warranty's 3 years Hyundai's roadside assistance covers wheel change, fuel delivery up to 5 litres, taxi co-ordination, opening the car in a key lock-out, battery and fuse problems put right, on-the-spot repairs and towing to the nearest workshop after an accident or breakdown, at any hour across India on 1800 102 4645; parts are charged unless the warranty covers them. An extended warranty bought since 6 July 2023 carries roadside assistance for its own term, with a taxi for up to 100 km after a breakdown or accident. After the warranty, a car under seven years old can have it on its own.

Creta Bluelink features and subscription cost
Bluelink, Hyundai's connected-car service, comes on the Creta from the SX trim up, on every Creta N Line and on every Creta EV. On the Creta it has 54 functions, among them automatic crash notification, SOS and panic notification, stolen vehicle tracking and immobilisation, remote engine start and stop with climate control and remote door lock and unlock; they are free for the first 3 years.
Creta Bluelink subscription cost
After the free 3 years, Creta Bluelink subscription cost is ₹2,499 for a year, and less a year on the longer plans; the prices do not say whether GST is extra. An extended warranty bought since 12 May 2025 includes Bluelink for its own term. The subscription does not include roadside assistance.

|---|---|---|
| 1 year | 2,499 | 2,499 |
| 2 years | 4,749 | 2,375 |

What the Creta warranty does not cover
The standard warranty does not pay for wear parts: spark plugs, belts, brake pads and linings, clutch disc, filters, wiper blades, bulbs and fuses. Nor does it cover damage from neglected maintenance, misuse, an accident, theft, flood or fire, the wrong fuel, non-Hyundai parts or accessories or modifications. Maintenance beyond the three free services, slight noises or vibrations, paint scratches and stone chips and consequential losses are outside it too. The air purifier, batteries, tyres and tubes and external accessories fitted at the factory are warranted by their own makers, not by Hyundai. Faults Hyundai has recalled cars for are listed under recalls and known problems.
Is Hyundai 5 or 7 year warranty?
Neither as standard: Hyundai's warranty on the Creta is 3 years with unlimited kilometres. An extended warranty, bought separately, takes it to 7 years in all, with a kilometre cap on each plan.
How much does a 7-year extended warranty cost for a Hyundai Creta?
₹47,999 to ₹1,12,999 before GST for the fourth to seventh years, if bought within 90 days of delivery: ₹47,999 on the petrol manual and ₹1,12,999 on the Creta EV, with ₹75,899 the most for a petrol or diesel Creta. Bought later, the same plan costs more; either way it adds to the Creta warranty's own 3 years.
