AbleMoonProducts LLP is responsible for every price, calculation and comparison on the site.

Ex-showroom prices are Hyundai Motor India's own figures, read from Hyundai's price list for each state and shown with the date they were read. On road prices are our calculation from that figure, the state's road tax and registration fees, the insurance premium and TCS; a line under every on road figure says what it includes and what it leaves out.

Features and colours come from Hyundai's brochures. Comparisons set each Creta variant beside the rival variant nearest to it in price with the same fuel and type of gearbox, and each verdict names the cheapest variant with the feature you need and what it costs over the alternative.

We publish no driving impressions, ratings or reviews. The methodology page, in the footer of every page, sets out how each kind of figure is built.

A Creta's price depends on where it is registered. Hyundai sets the ex-showroom price; the state adds road tax at its own rate and charges registration fees; insurance and TCS come on top. Two on road figures for the same variant can differ because one includes a charge the other leaves out, or uses another insurer's premium or another state's tax.

We built cretaprice.in to show each of those lines separately, for every variant and every city the calculator covers, with the date each figure was read, so a buyer can check a dealer's quote line by line before paying.

The site covers three cars, the Hyundai Creta, the Creta N Line and the Creta Electric, and gives for each:

• Hyundai's ex-showroom price for every variant on sale, state by state
• the on road price, line by line, for 286 cities across 36 states and union territories, through the on road calculator
• features and colours by variant
• specifications
• running and ownership costs, including the service costs and warranty terms Hyundai lists
• price comparisons with rival SUVs, variant against variant
• the last listed prices of trims Hyundai no longer sells, with the date and city of that listing

Other Hyundai models and used Cretas are outside its scope, and it takes no bookings and arranges no test drives, dealer quotes, loans or insurance. The on road figures assume a private buyer's first new car, registered in the buyer's own state.

Hyundai Motor India does not pay for, review or approve anything on cretaprice.in, and no Hyundai dealer pays to appear on it. The dealer and service-centre lists on city pages are taken from Hyundai's own dealer locator and set out in alphabetical order, with no ratings or recommendations.

Hyundai and Creta are Hyundai's trademarks, used here only to name the cars. The site's name and wordmark are its own, and it does not use Hyundai's logo as its branding.

cretaprice.in carries no advertising, sponsored placements or affiliate links, and no price, listing or comparison on it is paid for. It has no lead forms either, so nothing you do on the site reaches a dealer, a lender or an insurer.
