The Creta new model is the update Hyundai launched on 16 January 2024 at ₹10,99,900 to ₹19,99,900 ex-showroom, and it is still the Creta on sale as on 1 November 2026. Since then Hyundai has added the EX(O) and SX Premium trims in March 2025, the King in September 2025, the Summer Edition in April 2026 and the Lounge Edition in September 2026. Against its launch prices, the current Creta prices are ₹10,90,700 for the base model and ₹20,45,700 for the top model.

What is new in the current Creta
The Creta latest model is the update of January 2024. The changes since, in date order, with ex-showroom prices at introduction:
- 11 March 2024: the Creta N Line, with the 1.5 Turbo GDi petrol only, from ₹16.82 lakh
- 4 September 2024: the Knight edition, from ₹14.51 lakh
- 17 January 2025: the Creta EV (Creta Electric), introductory, from ₹17,99,000
- 3 March 2025: the EX(O) and SX Premium trims
- 2 September 2025: the King and King Knight trims
- 9 April 2026: the Summer Edition on the EX, EX(O), S(O), S(O) Knight, SX and SX Premium, ₹12,05,900 to ₹17,88,900
- 5 May 2026: the line-up cut to 7 trims, E, EX, EX(O), S(O), SX, SX Premium and King
- 10 September 2026: the Lounge Edition on the King, ₹19,21,700 to ₹20,45,700
The Creta 2026 line-up has 7 trims, from the E to the King, with Knight editions on the S(O) and the King. Hyundai has launched no new Creta model in 2026.
New Creta launch date and launch prices by variant
Hyundai launched the updated Creta on 16 January 2024, at ₹10,99,900 for the E petrol manual and ₹19,99,900 for the most expensive versions, the turbo petrol DCT and the diesel automatic.
Creta new model price by variant
Set against its launch price, the Creta new model price by variant is ₹9,200 to ₹22,500 lower on every petrol version in the table and ₹4,300 to ₹16,100 higher on every diesel version. The E 1.5 MPi Petrol 6-speed MT launched at ₹10,99,900 and costs ₹10,90,700 as on 1 November 2026.

Hyundai Creta facelift: what it changed
The Hyundai Creta facelift of 2024 brought a 1.5 Turbo GDi petrol of 160 PS with a 7-speed DCT and Level 2 ADAS (Hyundai SmartSense). Hyundai launched it with quad beam LED headlamps and connected LED tail lamps, a 26.03 cm digital cluster and six airbags among 36 standard safety features. Hyundai still counts it as the second-generation Creta, updated.
Next: what Hyundai has announced
On 15 October 2025 Hyundai said it would launch 26 cars in India by the 2029-30 financial year, 7 of them new names, with petrol and diesel, CNG, electric and hybrid powertrains in its plan. It named no Creta in that plan. Hyundai Motor India's announcements name no next-generation Creta and no launch date for one, as on 1 November 2026.
