Creta BH Registration

Creta BH registration is a number series a buyer opts for when the car is registered: it needs a working certificate in Form 60 from an employer with offices in four or more states or union territories, or for a government employee an official identity card or a service certificate. Its road tax is paid two years at a time: ₹10,388 every two years on the E 1.5 MPi Petrol 6-speed MT, against Delhi's one-time road tax of ₹1,09,070, as on 1 November 2026; the two-year tax is the full BH tax on the price before GST, times 1.25 and 2, divided by 15.

A BH car is booked for the same ₹11,000 online; at registration, the proof of BH eligibility goes with the other Creta documents required.

Creta BH registration: who can opt for the BH series

You opt for BH registration when the car is registered. A private-sector employee needs a working certificate in Form 60 from an employer with offices in four or more states or union territories. A central or state government employee needs an official identity card or a service certificate. The car can be registered where you live or where you work.

Creta BH number on road price: the road tax arithmetic

BH road tax runs in three bands of the price before GST: 8% below ₹10,00,000, 10% from ₹10,00,000 to ₹20,00,000, 12% above ₹20,00,000, with 2 points more for a diesel and 2 points less for an electric car. That rate is charged for two years at a time as the full tax times 1.25 times 2, divided by 15, rounded up, and from the fourteenth year once a year at half the two-year amount. On the E 1.5 MPi Petrol 6-speed MT the two-year tax is ₹10,388: 10.5 payments equal Delhi's one-time ₹1,09,070, and seven payments over fourteen years come to ₹72,716.

BH against state registration in your state

What BH changes at resale and on transfer

A BH car keeps its number when you move to another state: you tell the registering authority of the new place in Form 33 within 30 days, and nothing is re-registered. Sold to a buyer who is also eligible, it stays in the BH series while the buyer remains eligible. Sold to anyone else, it gets a regular registration mark of the state. What is the bh number in RTO?

It is the BH-series registration mark: the year of registration in two digits, then BH, then four digits from 0001 to 9999 and one or two letters, for example YY BH #### XX, in black on white. The registering authority assigns it, as it does any number, to a car whose owner has opted for BH.

Can a BH number car be sold?

Yes. If the buyer is also eligible for BH, the car stays in the BH series while the buyer remains eligible; if not, it gets a regular registration mark of the state.

Can I convert BH registration to normal?

Through a sale, yes: a BH car sold to a buyer who is not eligible for BH gets a regular registration mark of the state. For an owner who keeps the car, the BH rules of 2021 and 2022 describe no separate request, and no state procedure for one is on record; the registering authority that issued the number is the one to ask. The other way, a regular number can move to BH through Form 27A.
