When to Buy a Creta: the Record

Hyundai announced 5 range-wide price increases from January 2025 to September 2026: from 1 January 2025 (up to ₹25,000 a car), from April 2025 (up to 3%), from 1 January 2026 (about 0.6% on average), from 1 June 2026 (up to 1%, at most ₹12,800 a car), from September 2026 (up to 1%). On the Creta itself, 3 April 2024 brought ₹3,500 on most petrol variants and up to ₹10,800 on most diesels; 7 January 2025 brought up to ₹13,000. The one cut on record, up to ₹72,145, came on 22 September 2025.

In rupees on the base model: the E 1.5 MPi Petrol 6-speed MT read ₹10,99,900 on Hyundai's New Delhi list of 17 May 2024 and reads ₹10,90,700 on 1 November 2026, ₹9,200 less, across the increases and the cut on record between those dates.

Hyundai's November 2025 offer banner, valid till 30 November 2025, named no Creta benefit, and neither did its "December offers missed?" banner of January 2026, which carried December's benefits on 2025-built cars to 31 January 2026. No December banner of 2024 or 2025 is on record, so a Creta year end discount or a Hyundai Creta December offer from Hyundai is neither shown nor ruled out here. Its October 2025 banner, read on 10, 15 and 24 October 2025, named no Creta benefit; a Creta Diwali offer from Hyundai does not appear on it.

From May 2026 the banner did name the Creta: up to ₹1,05,000 in May 2026, up to ₹1,00,000 in July 2026, up to ₹85,000 in August 2026, up to ₹1,00,000 in September 2026, with no end date or terms for the Creta. Dealers' offers on record: up to ₹1,00,000 on the Creta petrol in September 2026, up to ₹1,15,000 on the Creta petrol in October 2026 (with a booking bonus for bookings up to 10 October 2026). The dealer's own lines on the invoice are a separate matter: handling charges to refuse lists the ones a buyer may decline.

Hyundai's May 2026 banner listed Creta benefits of up to ₹1,05,000. The increase that followed, from 1 June 2026, was up to 1% and at most ₹12,800 on any Hyundai: the listed benefit was ₹92,200 more than the largest increase. Both are maxima: the benefit a buyer received and the increase on a given variant could each be smaller. Road tax is a separate line, set by the state, or by the BH rules for a car under BH series registration.
