Jeep Compass vs Creta

Hyundai Creta and Jeep CompassCreta prices as on 1 November 2026; Compass as on 1 November 2026

₹10,90,700

Creta base model, ex-showroom: E 1.5 MPi Petrol 6-speed MT

Every Jeep Compass is a 1,956 cc diesel, so Jeep Compass vs Creta comes down to the diesels. The cheapest Compass, the 2.0 Sport at ₹17,99,000 ex-showroom, costs ₹5,38,000 more than the cheapest diesel Creta, the E 1.5 CRDi Diesel 6-speed MT at ₹12,61,000, as on 1 November 2026; on the road in Delhi the gap is ₹6,46,880. For that money the Compass is 75 mm longer and 28 mm wider, with a boot 5 litres larger; both seat five. Even so, it stays in the Creta's own band of 4 to 4.5 metres, one of 14 competitors of the Creta that size.

Jeep Compass vs Creta price: diesel against diesel

Only the diesel Cretas have a Compass to meet, so the petrol Cretas go unpaired. The 12 diesel pairs all land on the two Sport rows, the 2.0 Sport manual and the 2.0 Sport AT, and the Creta costs less in 10 of them, by up to ₹5,83,800. The closest pair is the SX Premium 1.5 CRDi Diesel 6-speed MT at ₹17,99,700 and the Compass 2.0 Sport at ₹17,99,000, yet on the road in Delhi the Creta costs ₹15,648 less, because the Compass's 1,956 cc engine pays the higher third-party premium for cars above 1,500 cc.
