Creta Resale Value
Creta resale value at five years: 2021 Cretas were listed for sale at a median ₹10,50,000 on 27 October 2026, and the SX petrol manual of that year at ₹10,04,979, ₹3,74,821 (27.2%) below the ₹13,79,800 Hyundai priced it at in Agra in January 2021. Three-year-old 2023 cars were listed at a median ₹12,13,080. The figures are asking prices of 1,710 used Cretas listed online across India that day, not what the cars sold for.
Depreciation, which these asking prices measure, is left out of the five-year Creta maintenance cost of scheduled services, insurance renewals and fuel.
Creta resale value by age, from the listings
Creta depreciation shows in the median asking price by model year: ₹15,62,455 for a 2025 car, one year old, down to ₹5,82,500 for a 2015 car, 11 years old. A model year mixes trims and engines, and older cars have run further, so the named variants that follow compare like with like.
Of the 144 listings from 2020, 64 name the first-generation model or engine, 79 the second generation and one says neither. Of the 115 listings from 2024, 38 name the model before the facelift, 42 a trim only the facelift has and 35 say neither. The median for each of those years covers both models.

What the listings cover
1,710 Cretas of the 2015 to 2026 model years, listed for sale on 27 October 2026 on two national used-car marketplaces, from their listings for New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata and for all India. A car listed twice counts once. Listings with no year or price and other models were left out, and so were cars from 2021 on listed with a model name, engine or trim Hyundai did not sell in their year. Most were dealer stock; the city mix is whatever was listed that day.
Before buying a 2023 Creta IVT, check the car against recalls and known problems: Hyundai recalled 7,698 Cretas and Vernas with the 1.5 IVT built from 13 February 2023 to 6 June 2023.
Extras a seller has fitted can be checked against Hyundai genuine accessories prices, each with its Hyundai part code.
What is the resale value of a three-year-old Creta?
A 2023 Creta, three years old, was listed at a median ₹12,13,080 on 27 October 2026, the middle half of listings between ₹10,91,514 and ₹14,46,881; the SX petrol manual alone was ₹12,07,839. Those are asking prices, so the Creta resale value a seller gets depends on the deal.
