Creta Ground Clearance
Creta ground clearance is 190 mm, which is 19 cm or 7.48 inches, as on 1 November 2026. The Creta N Line has the same 190 mm, and for the Creta EV (Hyundai's Creta Electric) the printed figures disagree: 190 mm and 200 mm, each quoted unladen.
Like the 4,330 mm length and 2,610 mm wheelbase, the 190 mm is one of the Creta specs that stays the same with every engine and gearbox.
Creta car ground clearance in mm, cm and inches
190 mm is the gap between level ground and the lowest point under the Creta's body. In centimetres that is 19, in inches 7.48 and in feet 0.62. One figure is quoted for the Creta, whichever engine or gearbox it has; what the engine and gearbox do change is the certified mileage, 17.4 to 21.8 km/l (Creta mileage by engine).

Creta N Line ground clearance
The Creta N Line's ground clearance is 190 mm, the same as the Creta's. It also shares the Creta's length, width, height and wheelbase (4,330, 1,790, 1,635 and 2,610 mm), and runs on 215/55 R18 tyres.
Creta EV ground clearance
The Creta EV has no single agreed figure. Its specifications are printed at 190 mm and at 200 mm, each as unladen ground clearance. It stands 1,655 mm tall against the petrol and diesel Creta's 1,635 mm, and is 4,340 mm long against 4,330 mm. Every other measurement is in Creta dimensions and boot.

Whether each figure, the Creta's included, was taken laden or unladen is not stated alike, so how much higher or lower each car sits under the same load is not established.

Laden and unladen: what the figure means
Unladen means the car is measured empty, at its kerb weight; laden means loaded with passengers and luggage. A car sits lower on its springs with five people and a full boot than it does empty. Most places that print the 190 mm Creta ground clearance do not say whether it was measured laden or unladen. No separate laden figure is printed for the Creta. The quoted gap is to the lowest point under the body; whether a steep ramp or a tall speed breaker touches first at the front or the rear bumper depends on the car's overhangs as well.
