Creta EV Battery Warranty
Creta EV battery warranty is 8 years or 1,60,000 km, whichever comes first, on the high-voltage battery of the Hyundai Creta Electric, as on 1 November 2026. The car itself is covered for 3 years with no distance limit in private use (3 years or 1,00,000 km as a taxi or tourist car), and roadside assistance runs for the same 3 years.
Both batteries carry the same terms, so the cover is identical on all 29 variants of the Hyundai Creta Electric.
Creta EV battery warranty: years, kilometres and conditions
The 96-month, 1,60,000 km cover runs from the day the car is delivered to its first buyer, and passes to a later owner for whatever is left of it. It covers the high-voltage battery of both packs, the 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh.

Hyundai's warranty excludes loss of capacity that stays within normal ageing for the way the car has been used, judged by Hyundai's own quality standard; no percentage of remaining capacity is published as the threshold. Damage from an unsuitable charger is excluded too. The 12-volt battery, the tyres and the optional wall box charger are covered by their own makers, not by Hyundai.
Creta EV warranty on the car and roadside assistance
The Creta EV warranty on the rest of the car is 3 years with unlimited kilometres in private use, the same term as a petrol or diesel Creta; a Creta EV used as a taxi or tourist car is covered for 3 years or 1,00,000 km, whichever comes first. The warranty transfers to a later owner, and roadside assistance is free for those 3 years.

What happens to EV after 8 years?
After 8 years, or sooner at 1,60,000 km, the Creta EV battery warranty ends, and any battery repair or replacement after that is paid for by the owner. Hyundai's extended warranty plans run up to 7 years and cover the car, not a longer battery term. Within the 8 years, a fault is covered, while ordinary loss of capacity with age is not.
