Hyundai Creta CSD price by variant against the civilian price
The September 2026 list has 21 Creta variants and two Creta N Line variants, all in solid paint. Each costs less through CSD than at a showroom, from ₹1,90,069 less for the E petrol manual to ₹3,22,670 less for the King turbo petrol DCT. The CSD price benefits from a concession that allows CSD to claim back 50% of the applicable GST paid on eligible purchases.

Creta variants with no CSD price
The list has no row for any Creta in dual-tone paint, the EX(O) petrol IVT, the EX(O) diesel automatic, the SX Premium petrol IVT, the King Lounge petrol IVT, the King Knight diesel automatic, the King Lounge diesel automatic or any Creta Electric.
Who can buy a Creta through CSD
Serving and retired members of the armed forces buy cars through CSD, up to a price cap set by pay level and counted before taxes. That opens six Creta variants to pay level 6 to 9, up to the S(O) petrol manual, and every one on the list from pay level 10. At pay levels 3 to 9 the first car comes after five years of service, and two cars are eight years apart. Defence civilian officers paid from Defence Estimates at pay level 10 to 18, and their family pensioners, buy under the same cap as officers. Widows and next of kin of serving and retired personnel may buy against the cars the individual had not bought, with the same eight-year gap.

How many cars can I buy from CSD?
Four cars in a lifetime at pay level 3 to 5 and five cars in a lifetime at pay level 6 to 9, eight years apart; from pay level 10, one car every eight years. A car bought through CSD cannot be sold or transferred for five years after purchase.
Can I buy a car from a CSD canteen?
Yes, up to your pay level's cap, though the canteen itself sells no cars. You book the Creta at a Hyundai showroom at the CSD price, pay CSD through its AFD portal, and the showroom delivers against the order CSD issues.
- Book the variant at a Hyundai showroom and ask for a quotation at the CSD price and an availability certificate. The certificate is valid for three weeks, and never past the end of the month it is issued in.
- Register on the AFD portal with your CSD grocery card, your mobile number and your PAN card, or log in if you have an account. A one-time password goes to the mobile number you registered.
- Search the portal for the variant's CSD index number from the quotation and check that the portal's price is the showroom's. Ask the showroom to correct a quotation that differs.
- Place the demand: your state's price zone, the dealer, the depot and the unit-run canteen (URC) nearest you. Upload the proof of payment, your PAN, your last pay slip or pension payment order and the availability certificate.
- The depot checks your entitlement, usually in one or two working days, and the portal then asks for payment.
- Pay CSD in full from your own bank account through the portal's payment gateway. A car loan goes from the bank straight to CSD's account, and you pay the balance through the portal. Above ₹10,00,000 the payment can be split in two. The bank takes two or three working days to realise it.
- Download the supply order and authority letter, take your original documents to the URC you nominated and collect the signed and stamped LS order.
- Hand the LS order to the showroom and take delivery.
Creta CSD price on road: what a CSD buyer still pays
The CSD price covers the car alone. Registration, road tax and insurance are paid on top, as on any new car, plus a FASTag. CSD collects tax at source of 1% on the CSD price when that price is above ₹10,00,000: 21 of the list's 23 variants pay it, and the E petrol manual and EX petrol manual do not. Road tax here is worked out on Hyundai's ex-showroom price, not the CSD price, because Delhi taxes a new car on its cost price before any discount. On that basis the E petrol manual comes to ₹10,80,675 on the road in Delhi through CSD: its ₹9,00,631 CSD price, ₹1,09,070 road tax, ₹53,544 insurance, worked out as for the same car bought at a showroom, and ₹17,430 in registration fees and other charges. That is ₹2,00,976 less than the same car on the road through a showroom.
Three years of third-party cover cost ₹10,640 on any 1.5-litre Creta, whoever sells the car; the first-year insurance premium adds a year of own-damage cover to it.
Is the Creta EV available through CSD?
No Creta Electric variant is on the September 2026 list, so a Creta CSD price exists only for the petrol, diesel and N Line variants. CSD's cap for an electric car is ₹5,00,000 higher than for a petrol or diesel car at every pay level.
