The on road figure adds Delhi road tax, registration and fees, the MCD parking fee, TCS at 1% because the ex-showroom price is above ₹10,00,000, insurance (three-year third party and one-year own damage on an insured value of 95% of ex-showroom at the zone A rate, with personal accident cover and GST) and a FASTag to the ex-showroom price. It excludes a loan's hypothecation fee, accessories, extended warranty and handling charges.

Road tax and the registration fees are Delhi's, so they are the same at every dealer in Delhi, and TCS is central tax at a fixed rate. The MCD parking fee is a city charge, set by the city rather than the state. The insurance lines are a premium at the zone A rate; an insurer's own quote for the same cover can come in higher or lower. The dealer line (FASTag) is a typical amount and negotiable.

In Delhi the road tax on the Creta E 1.5 MPi Petrol 6-speed MT is 10% of the ex-showroom price. Where the tax is a share of the price, a higher-priced variant pays more: ₹2,00,999 on the dual-tone Creta N Line N10 against ₹1,09,070 on the Creta E. The cheapest diesel, the Creta E diesel, pays 12.5% of the ex-showroom price. The Creta Electric falls in a 0% slab, so it pays no road tax in Delhi. Other states set their own rates and bands.

Creta RTO charges: registration, smart card and HSRP

The RTO lines are fixed fees in Delhi: ₹600 registration fee, ₹200 smart card fee, ₹1,100 high-security registration plate and ₹30 postal fee, ₹1,930 in all. Unlike road tax they do not grow with the price. Where a quote shows a single "RTO" figure, it usually adds the road tax and these fees together: ₹1,11,000 for this variant.

Buying on a loan adds a hypothecation fee of ₹1,500, which records the lender on the registration certificate until the loan is repaid.

TCS on the Creta: when 1% applies and when it does not

TCS, tax collected at source, is 1% of the ex-showroom price on a car priced above ₹10,00,000; a car at exactly ₹10,00,000 pays none. All 71 Creta, Creta N Line and Creta Electric variants priced as on 1 November 2026 are above that line, so every one pays it: ₹10,907 on the Creta E petrol and ₹25,221 on the dual-tone Creta Electric Excellence Lounge (HC).

Insurance: third-party, own damage and the zone

The insurance lines are a first-year package: three years of third-party cover, one year of own-damage cover, personal accident cover and GST on all three. Third-party cover is a fixed premium for the engine size: ₹10,640 for the 1,497 cc Creta E. The own-damage premium is 3.28% of the insured value at the zone A rate, and the insured value here is ₹10,36,165, 95% of the ex-showroom price. In a zone B city the same car's own-damage line would be ₹33,054 and the insurance total ₹52,444, against ₹53,544 in Delhi.

Creta FASTag, hypothecation and what is excluded

FASTag is included here at ₹500, a typical amount. The hypothecation fee (₹1,500 in Delhi) is left out, because it applies only to a car bought on a loan; the calculator adds it once "Buying on a loan" is ticked. The figure also leaves out accessories, extended warranty and handling charges, as the basis line under the worked breakup says.

Lines a dealer adds that are not on road price

A dealer's quote can add lines of its own: handling charges, an accessories pack, an extended warranty and insurance add-ons such as zero depreciation cover. None of them is part of the on road figure. The dealer sets these amounts, so ask for each as a separate line with its own price and check the rest of the quote against this Creta on road price breakup.
